Italy has roughly 120,000 registered accountants. Every morning they open a firm and hold together more than 5 million VAT numbers. They have done it for decades, with tools that have not kept pace with them.
Three vendors have split the Italian practice-management market between them for twenty years. The interfaces were born when "digital" meant a floppy disk. The logic is that of systems that replaced paper, but never touched the work itself.
It's not a question of aesthetics. It's that every day someone hunts for an attachment in a six-month-old PEC, manually re-checks a tax deadline, chases a client who hasn't sent a document, runs an anti-money-laundering check by opening five different registers.
Hours of skilled work spent on things that should be automatic.
It can't tell a friendly notice (avviso bonario) from a tax-collection demand. It has never opened the TUIR. It doesn't know the anti-money-laundering obligations under Legislative Decree 231/2007. It doesn't know that the 16th of every month is a payment day, that periodic VAT is settled on the 25th, that financial statements close in September.
General-purpose artificial intelligence doesn't understand Italian tax. It improvises it. And improvising in tax matters is a risk the firm pays for, in time, in errors, in penalties.
What's needed is an AI that speaks the language of the Italian professional. Not an approximate translation of an American model.

It's the engine that makes Prisma a tool, not just an interface.
All of this sits alongside the firm's practice-management software (TeamSystem, Zucchetti, PROFIS, DATEV, Wolters Kluwer, Passcom, Sibill, GB). It doesn't replace it.
All of Optlyx runs on Google Cloud, region europe-west1 (St. Ghislain, Belgium). Never transferred outside the EU. Compliant with GDPR, eIDAS, and the 2022 AgID Guidelines.
